*Observations: This is a sweet-sounding little guitar that is in very good shape, especially for an instrument built during FDR's first term! it has a lot of play wear in the form of deep scratches and small dings on all the surfaces from years of use as well as a good amount of finish checking. The bridge and nut have been replaced, and there is a crack running from the rear of the bridge to back edge of the top. It has been professionally repaired with internal cleats and the work looks good. It also looks to have received a beautiful re-fret at some point in the recent past. A vintage hard shell case of unknown age is included, and although it is in fair condition it is functional and cool in its own right.
Playability is good with medium action and there is plenty of height on the saddle to allow the action to be lowered if desired. This is a beautiful guitar that despite being only 12 years away from its 100th birthday is in great shape to be played and enjoyed for many more years to come.
