*Observations: This lovely mid-50s Martin is in very nice shape overall. It has a lot of play wear in the form of scuffs, scrapes and pick scratches, as well as numerous dents and dings large and small. There is some fret wear, mainly in the "Cowboy chord" area of the neck and the nut and cut-in saddle look like they have been replaced somewhere along the line. The end pin is missing but the original open-gear Grover tuners are here and while they are a little stiff, they are fully functional. The action is a bit high and while there is room for the saddle to be filed down a bit by a luthier to improve things, a neck reset may be necessary at some point to get it playing its best. Despite these issues, the guitar is structurally in great shape, with no cracks or major repairs or modifications and it sounds absolutely fantastic. A non-original plastic hard shell case is included.
