*Observations: This is one incredibly big-sounding 12-fret dreadnought! Overall the condition is very good, especially for a guitar built during the Johnson administration. The neck has been reset, with the visible evidence of the work done at the neck joint. The neck volute has been repaired, possibly to fix a piece of it that might have been chipped off. There is also some finish burn on either side of the headstock where it meets the neck, possibly from a stand or a wall hanger. The top has a lot of play wear in the form of scuffs, small dings and pick scratches that have worn down to the wood in spots and there are a few dents in the back of the neck and headstock. The back has some minor buckle/button rash and there is a small area on the treble side of the guitar where it looks like there is a bit of overspray. However, there are no cracks and everything looks great structurally. The original tuners are here and they function well, and the original bridge pins are here as well.
Playability is good with medium action and there appears to be enough saddle to get things lower if desired. The Brazilian rosewood back and sides are very beautiful and the tone of this guitar is just enormous, with powerful bass and bell-like trebles that make it incredibly fun and satisfying to play. The original hard shell case is included.
