Description

*This is a used guitar in very good condition
*This is a consignment item
*Includes Gibson hard shell case

*Observations: This bass is in very good condition, especially for an instrument built during the Johnson administration! There are a few chipped areas in the finish, the largest being a 10 mm-wide spot on the top on the bass side of the lower bout and three on the top's bass side edge. Apart from that, the finish looks great, with just scratches and small dings from medium/light play wear and light scratching on the pickguard. Fret wear is also light.

Most of the chrome looks great as well, especially the bridge and palm rest. The felt on the bridge mute is in good shape, but the mechanism that lifts it into place slips slightly lower than full height, providing partial muting but not a completely dead effect. The electronics work well and sound good, and playability is excellent.

$1999 plus $30 for shipping (consignment item)
