*This is a vintage guitar in very good condition
*This is a consignment item
*Includes non-original Martin hard shell case
*Observations: This lovely dreadnought was made by Martin in 1969, the last full year that Brazilian rosewood was used in regular production. And for a 57 year old instrument that was played and loved for many years, condition is certainly very good. The finish on the back of the guitar has a wide area where flaking and chipping has occurred, and there are numerous small dings, dents and gouges on the top and sides, along with the pick scratching and scuffing to be expected on a well-played instrument, as well as some light finish clouding here and there. A refret has been performed, the original nut has been swapped out at some point with a well-cut replacement, and a compensated bone saddle has been installed. Grover tuners have replaced the originals, a strap button has been installed on the neck's heel cap, and it looks like the pickguard may have been replaced. The neck is nice and straight and there are no cracks or major structural repairs. Playability is good, with medium action, and there is just enough saddle to bring down the action a bit if desired. A non-original Martin hard shell case is included.
