*Observations: This is a very rare and cool guitar built by New York luthier Giuliano Balestra in the late 1970s or early 1980s. Balestra was known for making instruments for famous players like Elliott Randall and Buck Dharma, and it is not often that you see these become available.
The VulcanMaster is a mahogany set-neck T-style guitar with a Gibson scale length and an ebony fingerboard. There is scratching and swirling on the top and pickguard from normal playing wear and some small dents or deeper scratches on the top and back but no buckle rash. There are few tiny finish chips edge of the back near the output jack and a few very small dimple-like dings on the sides of the guitar. There is some pitting and dulling on the bridge and most of the other hardware, which is mostly brass. Overall, this one is in very good condition, especially for a nearly 45 year-old instrument!
There is very little fret wear and the playability is terrific. Acoustically, this is a loud, resonant guitar and the electronics work well and sound great!
