Description

*This is a used combo amplifier in very good condition
*This is a consignment item
*Includes single button footswitch

*Observations: Overall the condition of this early 70s Vibrolux is very good, particularly for an amp well past its 50th birthday. Its speaker baffle has been replaced with one that can hold a 10" and a 12" speaker. The currently installed speakers are both Fat Jimmy ceramic magnet units. The tolex has small dings, scratches and rips here and there, and there is some fraying at the corners, and there is some light oxidation on the front panel and the metal hardware. The grille cloth is in great shape. The tone is loud and proud, with a bright, aggressive Vibrato channel and a smooth Normal channel, and the reverb is cavernous. A single button footswitch is included that can be used to turn the reverb or the tremolo on and off, depending on which back panel control input is used. Like most Fender amps, the tremolo does not function without something plugged into the control input, so currently the footswitch is connected there, allowing use of both reverb and trem on the Vibrato channel at all times.
