*Observations: This '70s survivor has seen a fair share of rock and roll in its lifetime but it is still going strong! Everything is in great working order despite the well-earned battle scars on display.
The top is fairly clean, with light scuffing and scratching from play wear and a little finish clouding, along with some very small dents here and there. The back of the guitar has significant buckle wear, with two large patches of exposed wood as well as smaller buckle dents and finish chips. The sides and edges of the guitar also have numerous dents and small finish chips and the finish on the back of the neck has been nearly worn down to bare wood from years of playing. The chrome on the hardware has bubbled and pitted a bit over the years, particularly on the stop bar tailpiece. The frets are in mostly good shape---there is some wear but no deep grooves or dents, and although they have flattened out a little over the years they still have life in them. The tuners were replaced with Grovers a long time ago and the guitar may have been rewired at some point but everything else appears to be original except for one of the filter caps, which looks like it was replaced. A non-original Gibson hard shell case, most likely from the early 2000s, is included.
Playability is excellent and everything sounds great and is in perfect working order. This one is ready to boogie for many more years to come!
