*Observations: This is a used guitar in very good condition. There is a professionally repaired crack on the top, and some some concentrated buckle rash-type scratching in one area on the back of the back of the guitar near the bass edge of the lower bout. There are also numerous small dings and dents on body and the back of the neck but most of them are minor for a guitar nearing its 43rd birthday. There is a little bit of fret sprout but the frets show almost no signs of wear. There is plenty of saddle and the playability is very good.

The spruce top has some beautiful bear claw and the Indian Rosewood back and sides have a gorgous grain. The distinctive D-shaped soundhole and wood marquetry rosette are lovely, as are the gorgeous rope bindings around the top. The tortoise grain pickguard was installed by Gruhn Guitars in Nashville, Tennessee.

Includes a letter of provenavce from 2012 signed by George Gruhn himself.
