*Observations: This is an extremely cool-sounding and great playing archtop that is in very good condition, especially for an instrument that just passed its 40th birthday. Interestingly, this one has mahogany back and sides, which is not unheard of but not as common as the usual maple.
It has scratching on the pickguard as well as light scratches and a few small dings and dents from years of play but no major cosmetic issues, apart from a few patches of finish clouding. Fret wear is minimal and the electronics work well and sound great. Currently set up with flat wound strings, playability is very good and the tone is lovely, warm and sweet, just what you want from this style of guitar.
