*This is a consignment item

*Observations: This is a very cool guitar from very early in Collings' production, August of 1990 to be exact. It has a label signed by Bill Collings and is in overall very good condition. There is a good amount of light scuffing and scratching on the pickguard and surfaces from normal playing wear, and there are numerous small to fingernail-sized dents as well, but no cracks. The thin nitrocellulose finish has sunken a bit over the years, revealing the faint texture of the wood and the tuners have developed a light patina. There frets have some very light wear but there are no dents or gouges.

An internal battery-powered pickup, preamp and endpin jack have been professionally installed, and although the make and model are unknown, the system is fully functional and sounds good. Playability is good with medium action and the original hard shell case is included.

This is a rare example of one of the early instruments that helped put Bill Collings' legendary guitars on the map, a very cool slice of a legendary guitar maker's history!
