*Observations: This beautiful Custom Shop 355 is in very good overall shape. There is a fair amount of light scuffing scratching from normal playing, and there is a bit of fading on the gold plating of the tuners and the bridge, although the gold on the pickup covers is still quite vibrant. This guitar is suffering from an issue common to Gibsons of this era where the edges of the binding and inlays on the headstock have shrunken and become very rough-looking (the binding and inlays themselves are not cracked or loose, just the seams) and there are fairly typical tiny hairline cracks on the binding nibs along the frets. There is also a 1 1/2" long area of cracked finish on the treble side of the neck, but apart from these issues and some light fret wear there are no other notable dings or dents and no structural damage of any kind. A standard gold stop-bar tailpiece has replaced the original fine tuner tailpiece, which is included in the case, and the tuning keys have been replaced with gold Grovers with pearl buttons. The electronics are in good working order, playability is great, and it sounds terrific!
