*Observations: This is a beautiful guitar made by Texas luthier Bo Walker that has some cosmetic issues but sounds great. The guitar has a lot of playing wear on all its surfaces, with significant scratches, scuffs and fingernail dents. The finish looks like a thin French polish, showing off some of the seam joints, and it has lost some of its gloss in several areas from skin contact. Most notably, there are some cracks including a small one and a long, deep one on the back, small cracks on both sides next to the neck joint, a top crack behind the bridge and what may be the beginnings of a second one. We have priced this guitar to reflect the possible cost of repairing the issues mentioned above if desired.
Despite these flaws, everything appears to be structurally sound and playability is good, with medium action. The quilted wood on the back and sides (likely to be Sapele) is stunning and the workmanship is lovely. Most importantly, it sounds great.
$1999 plus $45 for shipping (consignment item)
