*Observations: Apart from some light play wear in the form of light scuffing and scratching on the top, back and pickguard, there isn't much to note on the condition here. There is a light patina on the hardware and there is very little fret wear to speak of. The rosewood fingerboard is especially lovely, as are the dark-stained mahogany back and neck. The original pickups have been replaced with a set of Killer Vintage Alnico V humbuckers. Playability is absolutely outstanding and the tone is stunning, even acoustically, with lots of natural sustain!

CITY LIMITS
Crafted with the finest seasoned maple and Honduran mahogany, the CL is built for tone. Each Collings Deluxe electric guitar is constructed of all solid woods that are acquired, acclimated, and hand selected for acoustical response by Collings' master luthiers.
PLAYABILITY
A combination of exacting PLEK machine leveling and hand fret dressing ensures consistently excellent playability and a silky fret feel.
DELUXE APPOINTMENTS
Custom ivoroid knobs and pickup rings are handmade in the Collings shop and only available on a Collings Deluxe electric.
FINISH
By meticulously hand-sanding between coats, Collings' nitrocellulose lacquer finishes measure between 0.005" and 0.007" in final thickness, maximizing acoustic response while providing excellent protection and aesthetics.
