*Observations: This is a stunning Collings guitar in very good condition. There are some cool custom options on this one, notably a beautiful Madascar Rosewood fingerboard and headstock overlay, a black 3-ply pickguard and truss rod cover, and Collings' distinctive "Broken Glass" inlays on the fingerboard and headstock. It has a fair amount of scuffing and scratching pretty much everywhere from normal playing wear but no notable dings or dents, apart from a tiny paint chip on the corner "point" of the lower F hole. There is more "button"-type scratching on the back but no buckle rash and the hardware has a bit of patina from skin contact. There is some mild fret wear but no dents or grooves.
The pickups have been replaced with PRS 57/08 humbuckers, and a black Rhythm/Treble "poker chip" has been added to the pickup selector switch. The electronics work and sound great and playability is excellent.

Crafted to respond acoustically in perfect harmony with its electronics, the design and technique used for Collings' “LC” models has provided another unique way for us to voice our instruments for superior response and tone.
The I-35 LC Deluxe features a grained ivoroid-bound body, fingerboard, and peghead, along with Collings' custom ivoroid top hat knobs, pickup rings, and truss rod cover.
