Description

*This is a used guitar in excellent condition

This is a gently used C.P. Thornton Classic II Hot Rod Series #583 with Matador Red and India Ivory finish in excellent condition. There are a couple small marks on the back; some pitting on the chrome covering the control cavity; small bubbles in the paint in a couple places at edge of pickguard; some light pick marks on the top. All these marks are small and only visible upon close, detailed inspection. This guitar is lightweight, very resonant, super comfortable body and neck shape with smooth silky feel. This guitar is gorgeous!

ABOUT THE CLASSIC II HOT ROD SERIES

These guitars are the result of years of experience in building and craftsmanship,  and promise to be one of the best “Teles” you have played. Chuck Thornton has taken all he has learned about the right choices of tone wood for the right model of guitar, matched with the right electronics, and then applied that to these quality builds, using very old growth Nootka Cedar from Alaska. Unlike Western Red Cedar, Nootka is a very dense Cedar and has a tone that is incredibly rich and full. Paired with beautifully torrefied Rock Maple necks which supplies an awesome feel and incredible stability. As there are many things to love about these guitars, the thing we love the most are the looks! Inspired by classic cars from the 50’s. These 2 tone finishes are flawless and wonderfully gorgeous!
