Monel is a group of nickel alloys, primarily composed of about 67% nickel and 30% copper, with small amounts of iron, manganese, carbon and silicon. Monel is also known as Nickel Bronze. Stronger than pure nickel, Monel alloys are also very resistant to corrosion. It produces a warm and earthy tone and feels great to the touch
Strings are made in small batches so you are always getting fresh just made strings !!
In addition to device-testing all strings, several first articles from every batch of Curt Mangan® strings are also installed on instruments and then played by either Curt or the production manager to make sure they feel and sound perfect.
