*Observations: Condition on this gorgeous Les Paul is very good. This one was originally built for Wildwood Guitars and honors production year 1956, when the Les Paul model still sported P90 pickups and the gold top finish, but the Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece were newly introduced. There is some scratching on the pickguard and pickup covers from normal play wear, but the rest of the guitar is very clean and there is almost no fret wear. The hardware is in mostly nice shape but the stop tailpiece has some smudging on the nickel plating that won't polish out and the pickguard bracket has corroded a bit. Some of the plastic parts have some dulling and appear to have been lightly stained by some kind of dark material, possibly pencil graphite. The neck pickup cover has caved in a bit at the center. The finish is in beautiful condition, with the only minor item of note being a few small dimples on the neck heel. Playability and tone are excellent and everything works properly. This is a stunning guitar that calls back to a unique and fascinating chapter of this legendary instrument's history!
