The Traditional Series was created with two things in mind: create an instrument with traditional 'vintage' features, like a flat-top headstock, hand-carved volute, and diamond inlays, while at the same time maintaining the unique tonal balance of the standard Larrivée symmetrical parabolic bracing system. An enlarged soundhole allows significantly greater mid-range punch, emphasizing the low end, and increasing overall volume.
This 60 Series features Larrivee's highest grade Rosewood, herringbone trim, traditional angled bone nut, and is available with a custom vintage Tobacco Sunburst finish top. The casted bronze open-back tuners feature engraved design work by Wendy Larrivée, one of the many fine details that put this series in a category of their own.
