*Observations: This is a Maestro EP-3 solid state Echoplex in great working order. The 10745 serial number and "Market Electronics" stamp on the label of the lid and on the tape transport indicate a birthday somewhere in the early 70s. The "Maestro" badge that would normally be on the front of the case is missing or may never have been applied. There is some oxidation on the tape head welds, leading to faint hairline cracking, but nothing going through the weld itself. The case has some wear on the tolex, with numerous dings, scratches, frayed spots and small tears, but overall the condition is very good for a 50 year-old effects unit. And the tone is just fantastic, absolutely one of the coolest-sounding echo effects ever created.
