National's Replicon treatment adds the patina of a carefully, lovingly used guitar to the Style “O.” The brass-bodied instrument is polished to the usual mirror-like gleam, nickel plated, etched with the iconic Hawaiian scenes, and then receives a special hand-rubbed finish. The guitar takes on all the glory and glamor of an 80-year-old vintage relic — but still plays and sounds as good as new.
