*Observations: Orville Guitars, designed by Gibson and built in Japan, are usually only offered for sale on the Japanese market. However, they do occasionally pop up here in the States and they are very nice guitars indeed. They are a bit difficult to date precisely, but this one appears to have been made in 1989.
This one is in very good condition overall. There is a lot of play wear on the top along with lots of small dings and dents. There are a few larger dings as well, in particular a few dents on the front of the upper horn, one on the back of the neck, and a few gouges on the back edge of the guitar. There is also some buckle rash on the back but no missing finish. The hardware has developed a slight patina over the years and there is some minor fret wear with some gentle flattening in a few spots but no grooves or gouges. A simple Gator gig bag is included.
This guitar is very light-weight and the electronics work perfectly. Most importantly, it plays and sounds fantastic!
