*Observations: When the Steinberger guitar and bass emerged in the Eighties they represented one of the most innovative breakthroughs in guitar design since the early days of Leo Fender. This USA-made GL4T from the late 90s is a great example of what made these instruments so special, and it is in very good condition overall. It has some minor scratches, scuffs and very small dings from normal playing wear, along with a few longer dark scratches on the back of the guitar. The electronics work well, although the top knob of the concentric tone pot is missing and its shaft is slightly bent, making it difficult to turn, although it functions normally. The Trans Trem is not missing any parts, but it is unusually stiff and probably needs some lubrication or maintenance to function 100% correctly. Playability is good and despite its small size and unusual shape the guitar balances wonderfully on your lap with its built-in "kick stand" and is a lot of fun to play.
