SUHR CLASSIC S ANTIQUE

The Suhr Classic S Antique features a 60’s C vintage medium neck profile and V63 single coils. The Classic S Antique retains many of the original specifications of the Classic Antique including the SSCII hum cancelling system, nitrocellulose finish, and stainless steel frets. Proprietary Suhr locking tuners and the Gotoh 510 tremolo provides superior tuning stability.

SSCII
Suhr's Silent Single Coil II system (SSCII) is a proprietary passive 60-cycle hum reduction system that has no impact on tone, no batteries to change - just transparent noise reduction.

SUHR V63 PICKUPS

Suhr’s V63 pickups are wound to have the same tonal characteristics as those found by John Suhr in a particularly sweet 1963 S type guitar. The magnets are made by the same company that made the magnets for Fender® in the early 60’s and have the exact same formulation and use the same manufacturing process.

SUHR SSV PICKUPS

The SSV has a broad sonic aperture with very little compression, making for a dynamic, vintage output humbucker. The SSV Neck is a versatile pickup that combines the warmth of a vintage humbucker with increased clarity and definition. The SSV Bridge is similar to the SSV neck in tone, but wound hotter for more output, increased sustain and a sweet midrange response.
