Built with VL-Effects' handwired inductor, the Shelby Wah Monterey '67 LTD has been engineered by VL-Effects to create amazing vintage Wah tone with awesome harmonics, wide frequency bandwith and a transparent, dynamic attack.
The sweep of this wah is incredibly vocal. Even at the brightest point of its sweep the tone is never shrill, it just sounds like a slightly brighter, fatter version of your straight guitar signal. The bassier end of the sweep is fat, dark and mellow.
There is a "Gain / Clean" knob that allows you to hit the front end of your amp with more level when the wah is engaged. In its lowest setting, you have unity gain. As you turn it up, level increases until you get a significant volume boost. Into a distortion pedal or an overdriven amp, this boost can be just the thing to make your sound scream.
It's also unusually light for a wah, weighing in at only 1 lb, 14.5 oz, so your pedalboard will thank you!
