Description

*This is a used guitar in very condition
*This is a consignment item
*Includes non-original hard shell case

*Observations: This fine-sounding 0 size mahogany-top Martin from the early 50s, while not in pristine condition, is still a great deal of fun to play. There is a lot of play wear---pick scratches, scuffs, small dings and gouges on all its surfaces as well as a repaired side crack. There is a slight fingerboard dip towards the sound hole where the neck joins the body as well as a slight twist in the neck but playability is still good with medium action, and there is enough saddle to lower the action a bit if desired. The bridge and tuners have been replaced, a strap button has been installed in the neck heel, and there looks like some overspray on the top around the bridge. The frets are in good condition and there is a K&K pickup and preamp installed with an endpin jack and a 9-volt internal preamp w/ sound hole-mounted volume and tone controls. A non-original OM-sized hard case is included.

$3999 plus $45 for shipping (consignment item)
