*Observations:

  • This guitar is in very good condition. There are some marks on the body, and around the top of the headstock, and some staining on the masonite sides and pickguard. Still, for a guitar pushing 60 years old condition is very good. The 3-way switch is a little temperamental but volume and tone knobs work properly.
  • The case is exceptionally clean. Everything has been tested and works as it should; the "right" input jack is a little temperamental, as well, but works fine as long as there is no pressure on the input jack.

Silvertone 1457 w/ Amp in Case 1965

This model includes a case with built in Selmer amplifier. The 1457 is a fun guitar with two 'lipstick' pickups, and fairly broad tonal control via its tone/volume knob setup for each pickup. This is a great set up for travel, or for creating unique tones for recording.
