*Observations: This is a beautiful, great-sounding flame-top Les Paul from the well-regarded early years of the Gibson Historic line. Overall condition is very good. The top and pickguard have the normal pick scratches and swirling you'd expect on a guitar that was played a lot, along with a few very small fingernail-sized dents. The back has light buckle/button rash, along with a few small finish gouges. The chrome hardware shows some dulling and patina from hand contact. Fret wear is very light and playability is fantastic.
The only major condition issue is that The neck/headstock jouint was broken when the guitar was shipped to us, so the owner had renowned Austin luthier Chris Forshage perform a repair and the work done here is excellent. It is almost impossible to see the work unless you're looking for it very carefully. This is a gorgeous, great playing and great sounding Les Paul that is ready to rock for many more years to come.
