AUSTIN GUITAR HOUSE IS PROUD TO BE AN AUTHORIZED DEALER FOR

*This is a used guitar in very good condition
*This is a consignment item
*Includes original Collings "Traditional" hard shell case

*Observations: This is a beautiful, fantastic sounding guitar. It has some playing wear---pick scratches and scuffs, very small dents here and there and a couple of small dents on the back, but overall the guitar looks lovely. The thin finish has sunken in just a bit, slightly revealing the gorgeous texture of the wood, and the tone is uncommonly big, loud and punchy. This guitar also includes one of Collings' super-cool custom-made Geib-style "Traditional" cases, which were only available for a few years.

$5499 plus $45 for shipping (consignment item)

OM2H TRADITIONAL

Collings' Traditional Series or "T-Series” guitars represent an exciting vintage-inspired tonal variation on the distinctive Collings sound, designed and crafted to showcase the most desirable characteristics present in coveted pre-war instruments. Bracing and tone woods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection.

The Traditional Series or "T-Series" guitars reflect Bill Collings' return to his guitar making roots, offering a new tonal variation on the distinctive Collings sound. Each T-Series guitar is built using animal protein glue and a very thin, all nitrocellulose lacquer finish, making them exceptionally dynamic and responsive. Bracing and tone woods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection.

TRADITIONAL VOICING
Each T-Series guitars features hand selected tone woods that are voiced to facilitate the warm rounded highs and present low mids that characterize the tonality of Collings' Traditional series.

TRADITIONAL CONSTRUCTION
T-Series guitars are constructed of all solid woods that are acquired, acclimated, and hand selected by Collings' master luthiers in Collings' Austin, TX workshop and joined using animal protein glue.

PLAYABILITY
A combination of exacting PLEK machine leveling and hand fret dressing ensures consistently excellent playability and a silky fret feel.
