Acorn Amplifiers has just announced the next installment of their Conspiracy series of effects pedals. The Epstein Isn’t Dead Op-Amp Boost/Distortion is a single op-amp drive circuit that was designed to offer a combination of clean boost and heavy distortion with just two simple controls.
Warm, natural signal boost from the ‘palm beach’ control adds touch sensitivity and heightened player response while retaining all of the organic tone from your instrument and amplifier.
Sweet and resonating gain from the ‘plastic surgery’ control delivers an ideal distortion tone for powerful guitar and bass sounds. The ‘relocation services’ toggle allows the ’N’T’ in ’ISN’T’ to be always on or switchable with the bypass.
Powered with standard 9VDC pedal power and consumes less than 80mA of current.
