*This is a vintage bass in very good condition
*This is a consignment item
*Includes original hard shell case and tremolo arm
*Observations: This could quite possibly be one of the most '80s basses that the '80s ever produced. With its wild star-shaped body and Kahler tremolo bridge, looking like it came straight out of Darth Vader's stage rig, this bass is ready and waiting to transport you back to 1986 in style.
Condition-wise it has a few battle scars. There is some pick/fingernail scuffing and numerous dimple-like dents on the top, a generous amount of buckle rash on the back, and a few small to medium sized dings on the body and the back of the neck. There is also a very small finish chip on the top and a small ding on the face of the headstock. There is some wear on the black chrome plating of the bridge and the knobs, the jack plate is slightly bent, and both strap buttons are missing. The original bridge pickup failed but it has been replaced with a newer equivalent Carvin pickup. The original non-functioning pickup is included.
Aside from these cosmetic issues, everything is in excellent working order. The frets are in fantastic condition, playability is terrific, the Kahler vibrato works well and the electronics sound great. The original hard shell case is included.
$2399 plus $45 for shipping (consignment item)
