The fully-hollow Ladybird occupies its own unique corner in the Collings electric lineup. Loose and buoyant, it possesses a vintage character reminiscent of 1960’s single-cut guitars, while a 24 1/8″ scale length – the shortest in Collings' electric lineup – adds to the instrument’s uniquely expressive feel.
Custom-voiced Righteous Sound Cathedral or Bishop pickups were created specifically for this model. In capable hands, these pickups can move the Ladybird from a whisper to a howl, all while retaining the note clarity for which Collings is known.
The Ladybird is complemented by leopard tortoise binding and matching tortoise inlays set directly into the pickups. A rosewood bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and Davies Radio knobs round out the retro-forward aesthetic.
The Ladybird is a bold take on vintage tone and timeless style. It captures the unmistakable vibe of a fully-hollow electric with the precision and finesse that only Collings craftsmanship can deliver.
Note: The Ladybird comes from the factory with a lightly faded Antique nitro finish that features light scuffs, swirls and scratches.
