*Observations: Check out this spage-age bass model built from Lucite as part of a collaboration between Dan Armstrong and Ampeg in 1969! These models featured a bolt-on neck, clear lucite body and interchangeable pickups.  In 1968, Ampeg hired Armstrong to improve some of their guitars and these clear bodied instruments were the result.

This bass in particular is in incredible condition for its age, and it plays great! There is some fret wear, but there's still a good amount of life left in them.  Some light scratching can be found throughout the clear body, and the neck only has some small finish scuffs, and a small ding in the top corner of the headstock.  All electronics are working as intended! One of the latches on the case does not engage, and the case somewhat smells of smoke.
