*Observations: This handsome Custom Shop Esquire, built and reliced by Master Builder Paul Waller in 2010, is one killer guitar! The relic job is amazing and the flame maple neck is a real knockout. Fret wear is minimal. We're listing the condition here as "very good" and not "excellent" only because this one has been modified, but the mods performed are all very cool additions to an already very cool guitar.
The bridge pickup has been replaced by a great sounding ThroBak T-54, and the wiring harness has been replaced with an RS Guitarworks "Modern" Esquire wiring kit that does away with the Esquire's traditional super-dark "mud" position and replaces it with a setting that still darkens the tone but is far more usable. The original white pickguard has been replaced with a one-ply black guard. The original pickguard and bridge pickup are not included.
What is included is an extra black pickguard with a neck pickup cutout, a ThroBak T-54 neck pickup, and a MojoTone .047 capacitor in case you'd ever like to wire this up as a traditional two-pickup Tele, along with the original wiring harness, the original tweed hard shell case, COA, strap and cable.
And most importantly, this guitar plays worderfully and has the punch and twang that all Esquire/Tele lovers crave.
