***Observations: Introduced around 1978, the Mesa/Boogie MkII was an instant classic with its ability to deliver a truly wide range of tones. One of the first truly great channel-switching tube combos, it could produce everything from loud, fat cleans all the way to high gain sounds that were unheard of from other amps of this era.
This is a beautiful 60-watt example, with its gorgeous walnut cabinet and iconic cane grille. Despite a few small to medium-sized dents, bites and dings, everything is in fantastic condition, especially for a 43 year-old amp. The front and back panels look great, the interior of the cabinet is clean and the handle is in great shape apart from some oxidation on its metal hardware. At the moment there is a Celestion G12H-150 speaker installed in the amp but the original 12" speaker will be included if you'd like to go that route. Everything works and sounds great.
