*This is a used guitar in excellent condition.
*This is a consignment item.
*Includes gig bag and signed Old Redbird documentation
*Observations: This is a really cool guitar that began life as a mid-60s Harmony Rocket, made in Chicago, Illinois. It was refurbished by Sam Evans of Old Redbird Guitars and Cardinal Guitars fame, adding great playability and top-notch parts, pickups and components to its already formidable vintage mojo.
The aged milk paint finish looks awesome, there is almost no fret wear, and all the new components are in fantastic shape. The short scale lends it a slinky feel and the tones are marvelous.

About Old Redbird Guitars
Old Redbird Guitars is the culmination of an idea Sam Evans had a couple of years ago: “What about all these forgotten vintage electric guitars?” Countless Harmony, Kay, Airline, Silvertone, and Danelectro guitars were relegated to the budget corner of the guitar market. But almost to an instrument, they featured solid construction. Great bones, if you will. He takes those good bones and refurbishes them from the ground up. From new frets, finishes, and hardware, to Cardinal pickups and Cardinal hardware. They’re reborn and made anew by as high functioning, excellent sounding, great playing, professional grade instruments, thereby preserving an often forgotten and underappreciated part of American guitar history. All Old Redbirds come serial numbered, signed, and come with documentation.
