*Observations: Custom-built by world-famous Finnish luthier and designer Kari Nieminen, this Versoul Raya Palladium Bluelight is a spectacularly appointed, great-sounding guitar. Only a handful have been made, finding their way into the hands of legendary guitarists Billy Gibbons and Ron Wood. Now you can own one, too!
The condition of this used model is excellent, with very little play wear and no noticeable dents or dings. The top, back and the front of the headstock have been painted with real Platinum leaf and then covered in clear lacquer. What appears at first glance to be a weathered or relic finish is actually the texture of the platinum leaf beneath the smooth clear finish, creating a striking effect.
Other beautiful appointments include the multi-colored parquet purfling and multi-ply wood binding that line the top, back, fingerboard and headstock, the abalone fingerboard inlays, and the body's perforated, gold-plated steel sides. Gold-plated Gotoh hardware perfectly complements this guitar's unique look. The lone pickup is a Versoul "Electro Magnetic" humbucker with perforated gold-plated cover.
Last but not least is the dazzling Bluelight itsef, a glowing, LED-lit blue orb on the lower bout of the guitar that is visible through the top and back, looking like a far-out prop from a retro sci-fi movie. It's very cool and it's safe to say that no other guitar looks quite like this one!
This is both a rare and uniquely collectible art piece and a great-playing, terrific-sounding instrument with lots of mojo and undeniable cool factor.
