*Observations: This classic Pennsylvania dreadnought is in very good condition overall for a guitar coming up on its 45th birthday. It has a a good amount of pick scratches, scuffs and swirling on the top and pickguard as well as some button rash on the back and the expected small dents and dings here and there one expects on a well-played instrument of this vintage. The finish has some clouding and gumminess that isn't easily polishing out, and there are some significant grooves in the frets, particularly in the lower positions. The nut and bridge pins have been replaced but the originals are in the case pocket. A strap button has been installed on the neck heel. The original hard shell case is included.
The action is medium without a lot of saddle height and while it is playable, a neck reset will probably be needed in the future for optimum playability. The neck is nice and straight and the tone is big and bold with a lot of volume. This guitar just loves to be strummed hard and fill up the room with sound.
