*This is a used guitar amplifier in very good condition.
*This is a consignment item
*Includes dual verb/vibrato footswitch and standalone footswitch for gain circuit
*Observations: Built by Texas amp builder Ace Pepper, "Mr. Fire" is a custom-built all-tube creation that adds some extra sizzle to the classic '60s "black panel" 22 watt 1x12" combo format we all know and love.
The basic tone of the amp is based on classic 60s California sounds, but with a tighter low end and a hint of British bite. There's also a a midrange boost switch, a footswitchable overdrive circuit that can kick in some extra dirt (this is not high gain distortion, it's more of a bluesy overdrive), and a good-sounding spring reverb and tremolo.
Overall condition is very good, with no large dings or tears in the black and red snakeskin-patterned tolex. The amp functions perfectly, but the front panel power indicator light does not light up.
A Fender-style domed two-button footswitch is included to switch reverb and tremolo on and off, as well as a second one-button footswitch that engages the overdrive circuit.
$999.00 plus $50.00 shipping (consignment)
